Goodbye 2018

Alhambra, Granada

I’ve always preferred New Years Eve to Christmas, mostly because I like the idea of the end of something that wasn’t particularly good. There were amazing new places like Granada and Córdoba to discover with a new camera and I’m aware of how my life is good. But there is the nagging feeling how everything can go terribly wrong for my family and thousands of others. A former boss said he voted leave on the Brexit referendum because he thought jobs should go to British people. To then add it’s not me he wants to get rid off, it’s the other ones. We are all the other ones to everyone else and we are all going to pay the price. Let’s hope good sense prevails and this cloud that lingers above us just disappears.
