Amaryllis

I must confess I’m not sure if this is an Amaryllis. It looks like it could be to me, but I’m not sure. This was taken a few years ago and it still is one of my favourite macros. At the time, I didn’t really take note of what I was taking a photo of. These days, if I go to a Botanic Garden and see something as special as this, I make sure to write the name down with the illusion one day I might get one for myself.
