St Vincent Street Church, Glasgow

I would have never thought of visiting this church had it not been highlighted by the Doors Open Day. It was designed by Alexander “Greek” Thomson and built in 1859. Time has not been kind to it. 8 years ago, on my first visit I was shocked by the state of both the interior and exterior. Second visit was 2 years ago and it was still in the same state, which is heartbreaking. The people there are so kind and welcoming, this building deserves better. It is a true gem.
