A Photo a Week Challenge – 100 Years Old

I have a passion for history and in particular Victorian/Edwardian era. It started when I was studying fashion at university and it took from there. Glasgow is quite fortunate to have amazing late 19th century architecture pretty much everywhere, some in better state than others.

It’s been 5 years since we moved in to our own Victorian house that is 120 years old. Unfortunately it had been stripped of almost all the lovely period features but we did find some precious insights on how it would have been when the first owners lived here. This is a section of wallpaper covering the back of a cupboard. Faded but simply glorious.

    1. After all these years there are still bits we haven’t finished. It’s a labour of love, it will take us a long time but we’ll get it done 🙂
