Friendly Friday – Covid Discoveries

Time. We should have time for everything now and yet sometimes I feel I have no time at all. Just squeezing in, now and then, all these new ideas to try. Feels like I’ve never been as creative before.

I’ve worked with Photoshop for years and then swapped for Lightroom when it came to edit my photos. Now I’m going back to Photoshop to take a completely new approach on what I can do with some, not all, of my photos. Then, with a few minutes to spare I’ve started playing with Adobe Draw and then making patterns with Capture. Lovely little app I’m really just scratching the surface at the moment, the possibilities are endless. Finally, relax time with this beautifully written, compelling and intriguing novel by Hilary Mantel. I am ashamed I haven’t read it before…

  1. You switched from Photoshop to Lightroom! I want to go the otherway but I keep procrastinating going from Lightroom to Photoshop. I’ve not tried Adobe Draw, I will check it out.

    1. I find Lightroom better suited for what I want to do with photo editing, but when it comes to more creative stuff, Photoshop is a more powerful tool. Harder to control for me just now, that might change if the lockdown continues for much longer…
