Lens-Artists Challenge – 1 Single Flower

When I started taking photos, flowers were my first love. I would go to gardens and get close to them, trying to take in as much detail as I could. I still can’t resist taking photos of flowers, especially now as my only outings are my back garden. My choices of plants to grow are closely related to what I will enjoying photographing in the future.

Cee’s daily photos are inspirational. I enjoy them and I also learn from them. It’s no longer just the photo of a flower but I need to know what flower it is… My selection includes the exotic (Bird-of-paradise, sarracenia purpurea), the common (snowdrop, african daisy) and the simply beautiful Lotus.
