I remember how I felt when Notre Dame was on fire and the aftermath discussion on the value of a building against the value of human life. I don’t think things are as black and white as that. When history is lost, than all humanity loses part of itself.
This is the door that is no more. Again, we all lost something that day, in 2018. Maybe more so for Scots, a bit of the genius and creativity of this country gone. Memories and old photos is all we have left.
