At first, this challenge looked a bit too hard. What could I find that had 2 A’s in its name? But then, it all started to fall into place…

There are types of buildings. Here is the Throne Room at the Queluz Palace near Lisbon and the Alcázar in Seville.

Or, places. Lochranza is in the Isle of Arran. Quite a few double A’s there! And Alcobaça, in Portugal and it’s amazing Monastery.

Finally, a work of art. An absolutely wonderful Katana.

Those are beautiful words, none of which I could have ever in a million years have illustrated. I bet the palaces were almost overwhelming. 🙂

Thank you, Marsha. In some aspects, palaces tend to be overwhelming to me 🙂

I agree. When I visited the Vatican I was almost nauseated, not because it wasn’t all beautiful, but because every surface was covered with beauty – floors, ceiling, walls and more statues. I couldn’t look at everything. I finally took a break and looked out the window at the beautiful grounds. That grounded me for a few minutes. 🙂
