I can’t really recall when I started this thing of picking up rocks from wherever I go and I can’t remember with certainty where I got any of them anymore, apart from the most recent ones. I do know that it is something we do now as a family, always trying to find something different.

This post is a very wide interpretation of Sandy’s prompt. She mentions found objects art as something without artistic purpose but reused in a artistic context. I suppose by being in part inspirational for both my son and I that we can see them as fulfilling an artistic function.
My sister is a geologist and she found it funny we would be doing this. And that I expect her to be able to tell me over a Whats App call what our discoveries are. In a sense, this photos are also for her.

I love this post Sofia. You artfully present the rocks and at the same time, thoughtfully share a bit of your family life. It’s a much as I could ask for in a humble challenge. Lovely.
