Lens-Artists Challenge – Going Wide

I purchase my first Nikon as a kit. The lens was a 18-105mm which I got used to really quickly. It’s an incredibly versatile lens, from wide to telephoto range and I even learned how to take decent close ups with it. Recently, I got a macro lens that I absolutely love but for completely different circumstances. The first time I took it out on a walk I realized I had to learn to work it to its full potencial. Sometimes it meant having to walk away from my subjects in order to get them on my shot and it still feels a bit strange at times.

To finish, one of my first attempts at stitching a panorama in Photoshop. Scotland is perfect for wide shots and Loch Lomond is amazing but difficult to translate its beauty in a single shot. This is the result…
