PPAC – Kyoto

It’s the lovely statue and also the turning colours in the background that made me take this shot when we were in Kyoto, but I must confess, I didn’t really know who he was. I could tell he was an artist or scribe of sorts and with a bit of research I know now he was Miyazaki Yuzen, a fan painter that perfected a dyeing fabric technique, named after him. The gorgeous garden was also named after him.
