PPAC – Lisbon

Panorâmico de Monsanto in Lisbon. For today’s post, just a few views of the building details, with some of what makes it quite famous these days, the graffiti you can find there, and the view, that incredible view.

The building dates back to the 1960s, a restaurant for the elites in Lisbon. This massive concrete structure was abandoned in 2001 after mismanagement brought the restaurant to a close. I went to University near by, drove past the road that leads to this place and not once I knew it was there. In this age of Instagram, I found this by accident and went to visit as soon as I could. For a street art lover is an amazing place but also as a fan of architecture. And as a Lisbon lover. A brilliant place, highly recommended.
