Thursday Doors – Lisbon

Today is my sister’s 50th Birthday. Her favourite colour is green so I thought it would be fitting to share a green door. This one was taken on my last trip to Lisbon and unfortunately, there are just a few left to share. It is located at one of the poshest areas in Lisbon, Príncipe Real, not far from the Botanic Gardens, where I took the photo from last week. This photo is the possible one. The street is full of parked cars and I was lucky to find a space between them to get the door on the shot. It does not do any justice to the building, which is considerably big, shiny in the sun and… green.

  1. I love this door, Sofia. It has so many things I like. First, it’s a double door and it’s wooden. I like the panels and the color. Second, it has a gigantic transom light. I love that. I also like the stone surround and the brick. Great door! Happy birthday to your sister.
