Albany Mansions, Glasgow. I was looking for the door of another building, one that I’ve always liked, ever since I’ve moved to the city, the Charing Cross Mansions. A building looking like a set for a movie, it’s grand and has wonderful details. I couldn’t really remember any specific doorway but I thought it has to have a good door. I was wrong. There’s loads of uninterestingly doors and retail premises. But not all was lost. Just around the corner I found this wonderful building with equally wonderful doors.

One doors are bland. The worst are ones you know replaced a beautiful wooden door that served for many years. You found some lovely doors today.

Love the door. It seems wide for a European door:) Thanks for persevering to share with us!

Yes, they are wider around here and I’ve never even noticed!

Whenever I was aware of the wider doors, it caused me to think it was because in the USA there is more tolerance for being overweight than elsewhere:)

Your loss (original) was our gain in what you found instead.
