An old favourite for today. This photo was taken a good few years ago. This iconic coffee house in the heart of Lisbon was celebrating 175 years then. It is now 193 and still going. I love everything about this place and I feel so sorry I haven’t been inside for a long time. A visit to their website will show you how beautiful it is, a true time capsule.

This is a truly remarkable entrance.I love the curves! I visited their website and I was delighted to find more curves. The wood seems to flow around the scene as if the entire space is fluid. Thanks for sharing this place.

Love the whole ambience of these doors with the banners of the teapot, etc. Now I wished Lisbon was on this side of the ocean to visit and spend a Saturday afternoon:)
