

The Mosque-Cathedral at Córdoba is an impressive building, dating back to 756 it was later expanded several times. I like the fact you can see different construction periods, alterations, additions, up to the 18th Century, and none of them tried to erase what was there before. A magical place, inside and out.

I can only imagine the work involved in keeping a building relevant to its original task for almost 1,500 years. I like the comparison photos.

I love the golden door. I have a picture of myself 20 years ago posing in front of it ☺️ The whole town was really interesting, the flower pots on the walls, the bridge, etc

They’re separate doors although look very similar. For what I can remember, they were on the same side of the building so I don’t really know why the differences 🙂
