Rosehill and Rose Court in Inveresk. These two houses are just across the road from the manor house I shared last week. They both date to the 1800’s but have a very different feel between them. I was more attracted to Rose Court because of it’s unusual colours ( later found out they were very popular at one point) and then I saw how lovely the less vibrant Rosehill was too.

The Middle pictures with the long shot of the street is stunning.

They are both attractive houses. Rose Court does have an interesting color scheme. Wonderful photos.

Beautiful photos all. I like how the wall color in the first photo emphasizes the door’s simplicity. Nicely photographed Sofia!

I like the surrounds of both doors as well as the color of the Rose Court house. I do find it amusing that there’s no rose color to be seen. š Perhaps there were roses growing there.

I’m tempted to go back later in the year to see if there are any roses about. It could explain it š
