“Today We’re in Love Aren’t We?” is the name for this mural by the Cobolt Collective, a all-female group of artists. I love this mural although the photo is not the best… how to take a decent photo of something that is behind a gate and on a car park? Anyway, it celebrates one of my dearest festivals in town, the Glasgow Open Doors Day, turned 30 years when this mural was installed in 2019. The words are by Liz Lochhead, part of her poem called The Bargain. Just perfect.

It’s too bad about the gate, but it’s an attention-grabbing mural and it’s pride in your city. Nice post.

A shame about the setting but the mural itself is fabulous!

Thank you Sofia for your PPAC contribution. Beautiful mural and you did great capturing its beauty despite the fenced gate.
