
Monserrate in Sintra is one of my favourite places and I think a revisit is long overdue. The palace is a wonderful example of 19th Century Romanticism but, for today, I want to share one of the many interesting highlights of the park, the Chapel. This is a false ruin, that time and overgrown nature helped to create this perfect, romantic image. I’ve shared another photo of this building before, you can find it here.
