


A slightly different post today, as I’m also sharing the street where last week’s door is. In fact, today’s door and gate are on the same street in Lisbon, just on opposite sides. With all the cafés and parking, the trees and the very narrow traffic lanes, this was a harder task than antecipated. Still, here’s no 75 Avenida Duque de Ávila and side gate.

I’m always impressed by the chunky high buildings and solid doors in countries like Spain and Italy. I’m surrounded by cottages and plain walls. 😄

I understand the challenges of taking pictures on narrow streets. Trying to get far enough away without getting run over being one of them. These are great photos. I’m not sure if you included the person in front of the gate on purpose, but he illustrates the scale of that gate perfectly.
