Last door from the same street as the last couple of weeks. The difficulties remained with cars parked everywhere and this one had the extra of the bin. My dad asked me if I wanted it moved but for some reason, I wanted it there. It gives some colour, and a sense of scale. Also, its a well travelled bin, which adds a bit of interest… 🙂

I’ve always thought that as Thursday Doors participants, we should be allowed to move objects, but I agree that it adds a sense of scale. I might not have realized how large this entrance is. IT is a beautiful entrance.

I’m glad you enjoyed it, Dan. I’m still not at the point of digitally removing stuff like this…

I don’t usually bother. I did some removing and replacing for the photos in the trailer for my latest book, and for the cover. Other than projects like that, I’ll take them the way I saw them.

nice, the bin is bit of a eye sore in my humble opinion 🙂

No, I don’t have that strong opinion about it 😂

I like that bin near the door, what a wonderful highlight to the door’s well used and stately look. Nicely done as always Sofia!! I love it!

Thank you, Suzette. The bin is a bit of a talking point, which is a good thing 😀

I’d have said, “Yes, Dad. Move the bin. Thank you.”
However, I see how it shows the true size of the door.
Recently, the handrails on the steps leading to a church door got in my way as I was trying to get a good photo. No chance of moving them though! 😄
And that reminds me of the time when I just photoshopped my child out of a photo. It was outside a pub and I just didn’t want her in it. It was an old photo I had in my gallery, not taken specifically for Thursday Doors.

It is one of those decisions you make and you’re not sure why. I’m enjoying the bin conversation 🙂 I was just mentioning on Dan’s comment that I haven’t started digitally removing things, yet… there will be a time, I’m sure.

The thing is, I didn’t really notice the bin until it was mentioned. I was focused on the door!
It’s funny sometimes what creates fun conversation! 😄
