This week we’re back at Crathes Castle in Aberdeenshire, that we visited a couple of years ago. I came across this photo while looking for a different challenge, and it’s funny how easily I forget about some photos taken not that long ago. Crathes is a wonderful, fairy type kind of castle, with fantastic gardens and painted ceilings.

That’s a strong door. I like the photo. The millstone and the building information carved into the facade. It makes a very nice composition.
