I usually pick the door I want to share but this week I went random and luck picked this pretty door, 4 High Street in Kirkcubright, Dumfries. I’ve never found so many interesting doors is such a small town and it feels I had a lot more to explore.

It’s the fanlight above the handsome door that makes the ensemble so attractive

That’s a lovely color, Sofia. I’ve always liked double doors that are split other than 50/50. I’ve actually made several sets of those doors for utility spaces.

Cool, Dan.
It is a lovely colour but I’m still searching for one for my own door đŸ˜€

I have a few left from a few years ago, I wouldn’t mind going again, it’s a lovely place.

It’s lovely! We once stayed in Kirkcudbright for a couple of nights and liked it very much.

An interesting door. I wonder if it had always been double doors or at one time a single door.

I haven’t thought about it, maybe both?
