Portencross is a small hamlet on the west coast of Scotland, with wonderful views across the Firth of Clyde to Arran. We went for a visit to the 14th Century castle but I fell in love with the shoreline. The coastal walk was amazing, even with the westerly winds battering us a points. I wonder what was beyond this back garden gate.

Hmm, I wonder as well. I love the pale blue door set in the rustic stone wall.
