A quick walk before work got me on the Glasgow’s Mural Trail. Recently I’ve noticed some of the older murals were gone so it’s time to capture as many as I can, just in case… This particular one dates to 2016 and it is one of my favourites. It depicts Saint Mungo, Glasgow’s patron saint and it is by Smug.

Wow, that is a fantastic example of street art at its best! I do hope it remains for a long time.

My first thought was, “What a kind-looking face.” Then I scrolled down to read who it was. Beautifully done. I’m glad you caught it. Since it is an important piece, artists may just restore it. While I was in Spokane, Terri took me to a wonderful set of murals that have just been restored by a local artist. I’ll post them soon.
