Following COP26, hosted here in Glasgow, the artist Steuart Padwick created this wonderful piece called Beacon of Hope. Made of Sitka Spruce is one of 3 that can be found across the city. This one is at the Central Station. I will look for the other ones!

What a beautiful sculpture. Sitka spruce is an evergreen which adds meaning to the sculpture title, too. Thank you Sofia for your PPAC contribution.

It’s been a while since I’ve been to Glasgow, but this looks like it’s worth seeing.
